Maylodge host, Gavin, extends a warm welcome inviting you to share the beauty and uniqueness of Hogsback - "you leave it but it never leaves you".

Privately situated, well equipped and tastefully furnished self catering cottages in an acclaimed, tranquil, park like garden. Maylodge is within walking distance of hiking trails which lead into the indigenous forest with numerous cascading waterfalls.

All linen is provided and the cottages are serviced daily. Check in time is from 1:00PM and check out time is by 10:30AM.

Horseriding excursions can be arranged.

Seasons are highlighted with autumn hues, snow in winter and a burst of spectacular flowers in spring and summer.
Gardens are open to the public free of charge, during spring and summer, by prior arrangement.
For the not so active - a complete relaxing getaway.
Bird watching is also an often pursued activity.
